Welcome to Woodbine!
We are looking forward to helping you grow as a horseperson. Here is a list of items and their links that will help you along the way.
- Pony Club Manual- Start at the beginning with the Pony Club D Manual. D-1 is the first level of Pony Club and as you progress, information will be added.
-Medical Arm Band-Safety is a key aspect of Pony Club. Make sure you print and fill out both pages. Bracelets are also acceptable.
-Certifications- We like to certify our members as they are prepared! Pony Club is guided by Standards of Proficiency. The standards build one upon another up the levels. Proficiency is examined by testing or certifying based upon the standards. Certification levels are tested at the club level beginning with D-1 and progressing up to C-2. Levels above C-2 are tested nationally. To view the certification test sheets, click here. These checklists are also very helpful as you move up the levels. When you are ready to certify, please fill out the form located on our home page.
-Meetings- We have monthly unmounted and mounted meetings. Many of our meetings are led by our advanced members though some are conducted by equine professionals. Our calendar is located on our home page and meeting invites are sent out to members and other email contacts. If you have an idea for a meeting, we would love to hear it!
-Gear- General Pony Club gear can be purchased here. Woodbine polos can be purchased here. We are also working with Lands End for more logo gear so stay tuned!
-Contact Information- If you have any questions, please just ask! Email Valerie and Laura at [email protected] or call Laura at (770)686-0256.
